Born in 1993, his family has always been connected to the world of wine, ending up passionate about it as well, in the past in fact they were grape growers without ever having thought of producing it. The turning point came in 2018 when Stefano inherited nebbiolo vineyards in Serralunga d&#8217;Alba in the Cerrati area (owned by his grandfather), very old plants in excellent exposure that he rearranges by producing his first label in 2020. Few bottles produced, a lot of resourcefulness in the work from the vineyard to the winery, a lot of extraction in the vinification and use of oak barrels. It is only the beginning but it already looks great.       <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Barolo is produced from the 2019 vintage. The grapes come from the oldest part of the vineyard ( plants over 50 years old, planted by Stefano&#8217;s grandfather ) located between the Brea and Cerrati mentions of Serralunga, an area particularly suitable for the production of Barolo thanks to the beautiful southeastern exposure and limestone soils, giving the Nebbiolos beautiful complexity and structure. In addition to the maniacal work in the vineyard, in the cellar Stefano uses only indigenous yeasts and vinification is carried out in wooden vats, followed by aging for 24 months in used tonneaux, followed by a further 2 years in the bottle. Production is limited to 700 bottles. This is a real gem, with important aromas of orange peel, small balsamic hints and violet, in the mouth it is very balanced, linear, with straight and well persistent tannins. Beautiful expression of traditional Barolo.
