This area is particularly suited for the production of Nebbiolo for Barbaresco, just because it enjoys an unusual microclimate, that is soils rich in layers of blue limestone besides sand, giving wines an important and atypical structure and longevity. The approach in the vineyard is minimalist by intervening only with the use of copper and sulfur, indeed since 2015 the winery has focused on an organic approach. In the cellar, however, the style is purely traditional, with long aging in large barrels, respecting the natural time of each wine. Classic, authentic, territorial wines, where you can feel the true history and Langa. Wines that personally drive me crazy, for their longevity, austerity, class and sensuality.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Riserva Vecchie Vigne 2019 has just been released on the market, it is no coincidence that this vintage was chosen for the most beautiful bottle of the cellar. 2019 was a great vintage in Langa, to be remembered among the best of the last 10 years, thanks to the excellent structure the wines have enormous potential for the future. For this wine the oldest plants of over 50 years of the Serraboella vineyard are selected, the wine was aged for 24 months in large oak barrels and 4 years in the bottle.
