His unconventional style, somewhere between traditional and modern, made us fall in love from the first sip. Today the winery boasts 13 hectares cultivated mainly in the Meriame cru of Serralunga, in Sinio and in Roero for the production of the white Arneis, cared for in every detail with almost maniacal attention, respecting the environment as much as possible.  <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Barolo of the Comune of Serralunga d&#8217;Alba was born with the concept of assembling different vineyards in a specific village with the aim of producing a wine that is simpler and more immediate to drink, but still going to enhance the soil of the area concerned. In this case, however, the Manzone family uses a large part of the &#8220;Meriame&#8221; cru with a southwest exposure, plus micro pieces of vineyard within the municipality of Serralunga. The wine is vinified in steel and aged in both small and large barrels for 24 months, plus 2 years in the bottle. It is an opulent wine, with notes of orange peel and overripe fruit on the nose, in the mouth the tannins typical of Serralunga&#8217;s limestone soils are quite clear, but the freshness and easy drinking make this Barolo a fantastic wine!
