Although it is a relatively young winery, it actually has a 100-year history behind it. The family has always had vineyards between the area of Bussia di Monforte and Pugnane di Castiglione Falletto, but never managed directly, but left in the care of prestigious Barolo wineries. The turning point came in 2010 thanks to the two grandchildren Annalisa and Guido, driven by enthusiasm and the desire to try to make unique, but more than anything else give an identity to the family&#8217;s historic vineyards, starting to get their hands on the vineyards about 70 years old and try to make wine from a few thousand bottles of Nebbiolo and Barolo. Motivation, clear ideas, maniacal care of the vineyards and respect for the wines by adopting a traditional style in the cellar. Classy, fine, silky, perfumed wines, pure expression of terroir with well-defined tannins without being too heavy. With a southwest Barolo position and soils rich in clay and white marl, the winery set out to produce a fresh, yet textured and structured Nebbiolo. The wine was aged for 9 months in large oak barrels.
