The Vigneri movement was actually born in Catania in 1400 as a group of farmers, but the same philosophy was resumed about thirty years ago by the Foti family. They take care of only 5 hectares of vineyards, respecting nature, using and rediscovering autochthonous vineyards and even in the winery they do not use any technology. The purpose of this project is to produce and make known the real essence of Etna&#8217;s territory.<br \/>\nThe red wine &#8220;I Vigneri&#8221; is produced with the whole of the different plots of Nerello Mascalese and Cappuccio,Alicant grapes, it is fermented without temperature control in cement tanks.
