Elio Altare, founder producer of this movement, after an enlightening trip for him, returned to Italy and cut all the old large barrels in the cellar with the chainsaw to insert the new French barriques, he was thus disinherited by his father! Charismatic, courageous, enterprising man guided by his great passion for wine and love for the land he began the search for excellence, which he expresses through his elegant and balanced wines. The wines are simple and natural, biodynamics or other similar philosophies are not applied, the vine is simply cultivated based on the experience acquired and handed down for tens of generations.<br \/>\nBricco Cerretta, name that identifies the top part of the MGA Ceretta and in particular the best exposed part, we are in the municipality of Serralunga d\u2019Alba here on soils rich in limestone and older plants Elio Altare produces a very representative Barolo.
