Born thanks to Valentino Migliorini, already owner of a starred restaurant, in the 1970s he landed in the Langa and bought a farmhouse right in Monforte d\u2019Alba in the center of the Barolo production area. He was a rather innovative figure, he was the first to produce classic method sparkling wines with the same grapes as Champagne in a land of reds and Nebbiolo, and he was the first to bring and use French barriques for the refinement of wines.
