Elio Altare, founder producer of this movement, after an enlightening trip for him, returned to Italy and cut all the old large barrels in the cellar with the chainsaw to insert the new French barriques, he was thus disinherited by his father! Charismatic, courageous, enterprising man guided by his great passion for wine and love for the land he began the search for excellence, which he expresses through his elegant and balanced wines. The wines are simple and natural, biodynamics or other similar philosophies are not applied, the vine is simply grown based on the experience acquired and handed down for tens of generations.<\/p>\n<p>The grapes used for the production of this Barolo come from the best crus located in different municipalities of the Barolo area, the plants have an average age of 30 years, composition of different soils and here we see the true ability and experience of Elio Altare in being able to assemble the different vineyards to produce a pleasantly balanced red every year.
