In 1919 his son Mario started producing the first wines. However the history of the winery was marked by the great enologist Alfredo Currado, the first ever to vinify single vineyards and in 1961 Barolo &#8220;Rocche di Castiglione&#8221; was released on the market.<br \/>\nToday the winery is one of the most important ones of the whole Barolo area, in fact in 2016 it was bought by the American Krause Holdings, allowing the family to enlarge their patrimony while continuing to produce wines of great territoriality and value.<\/p>\n<p>Ravera is one of the most important crus in the entire Barolo area, which on a stylistic level offers a range of expressions ranging from the most mineral to the most tannic, never lacking in elegance.
