In 1975, the Roman lawyer Gabriele Mastrojanni bought the farm of San Pio e Loreto in the hamlet of Montalcino at an altitude of 400 meters, an area that has always been dedicated to wine production, but little explored. It was a far-sighted choice, given that in those years there were very few wine producers in the area. His dream was to make the best Brunello ever, in fact a few years later he succeeded fully, creating a masterpiece of fine and refined wines with great potential. From the 90s the Mastrojanni brand entered history for its high level of quality and thanks to two collaborators who are still a point of reference in the company, such as the oenologist Maurizio Castelli and Andrea Marchetti who fully takes care of the administrative part of the company . The style in the vineyard is more than respectful of the environment and in the cellar there is still the use of concrete tanks for fermentation. This Brunello is aged for 36 months in large wooden barrels plus another year in the bottle. To say that it is a great wine is little, rare to find, but its elegance with those intense cherry aromas will fully satisfy you!   Producer: Mastrojanni  Name: Brunello di Montalcino  Grape Variety: 100% Sangiovese  Vintage: 2015  Alcohol Content: 14,5%  Bottle Size: 750ml  Production: 58000 bottles  Productive Notes: Fermentation in concrete tanks at a controlled temperature. Aging for 36 months in large oak barrels plus six months of aging in the bottle."}
