The wine is still made the "old way", very low yields from old vines and careful work in the vineyard, mainly large barrels and maximum respect for aging times, the wines are released on the market only when they are ready. Their vineyards are located between the municipalities of Castiglione Falletto and Serralunga d'Alba, two villages so close, but completely different for the type of soil: the first is rich in sands giving finesse and aromas to the wine, the second has limestone and blue marl giving harder and more tannic wines. Ceretta, a hill that dominates the northern part of the municipality of Serralunga d’Alba with its squat profile, the wines produced in this cru have a solid and vigorous character. The Ceretta vineyard has been part of the family for over 30 years but for Luigi the plants were too young so he waited until 2020 to market his Barolo with the mention of this cru on the label. One word to describe this Amazing wine !! Producer: Azelia Name: Barolo Ceretta Grape Variety: 100% Nebbiolo Vintage:2016 Alcohol Content: 14,5% Bottle Size: 750ml Productive Notes:Vinification with indigenous yeasts for about 55/60 days with submerged cap and aging for 30 months in large barrels.
</oembed>
