In 2002 he bought a hectare of vineyard in Montalcino, thus crowning his great passion for wine with a personal project. Nowadays Giodo cultivates only 6 hectares of Sangiovese grapes for Brunello di Montalcino and Rosso Toscana Igt. The style of the estate is to produce balanced and simple wines, sustainable agriculture is used, low yields, maximum selection of grapes, and aging in French barrels.
