Giodo – Brunello di Montalcino – 2017

The wine is aged for 30 months in 500/700-liter tonneaux and large barrels, then the wine rests in cement tanks and for 18 months in the bottle. Description

Giodo was born thanks to the love of Sangiovese by Carlo Ferrini, recognized worldwide as one of Italy’s best winemakers. In 2002 he bought a hectare of vineyard in Montalcino, thus crowning his great passion for wine with a personal project. Nowadays Giodo cultivates only 6 hectares of Sangiovese grapes for Brunello di Montalcino and Rosso Toscana Igt. The style of the estate is to produce balanced and simple wines, sustainable agriculture is used, low yields, maximum selection of grapes, and aging in French barrels. In a nutshell, Giodo wines represent class!
