Adegas Gran Vinum – Mar de Viñas Albariño -2020

We are in Galicia, in Rias Baixa to be more precise, in the extreme north of Spain, near the border with Portugal, where the main grape is Albarino. Pineiro Cores family has been cultivating vineyards for generations, however it was only in 2002 that the winery Adegas Gran Vinum was established. We are located in Vilanova de Arousa, in the center of Ria de Arosa, one of the largest salt solution estuaries of Galicia. The winery manages little more than 3 hectares (12.5 acres) of Albarino grapes only, with vineyards facing the ocean and thanks to the soils rich in minerals given by the closeness of the sea and the salt flats, the wines absolutely benefit from it, giving notes of great flavor and fruit.
